The government’s guidelines issued to reduce transmission of COVID-19 has seen many businesses and public sector organisations greatly reduce occupancy and, as such, water systems may have seen increased potential for stagnation.

Water stagnation is a significant issue and is one of the key factors that needs to be reduced as far as reasonably practicable to manage risk.

To assist facility management departments in planning for reoccupation, we have produced a guidance document offering some insight on the considerations for water safety during the planning of workplace reoccupation, with specific focus on commercial offices, education and public sector.
