Food Hygiene
The Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006 and EC Regulation 852/2004 impose certain requirements on caterers, food storage and preparation areas, preparation of food.
The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 impose certain requirements on the employer and their premises. Employers also have a general duty under Section 2 and 4 of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 to ensure, so far as is reasonably possible, the health, safety and welfare of their employees and others that use their premises, at work. Sections 2 and 3 HSWA essentially require that employers only employ such contractors that can demonstrate competence generally in health and safety and specifically in their chosen area of work.
Whether an employer assessing your own kitchens or a caterers facilities, our auditors can assess the condition of the premises, the practices employed and the Company’s policies / procedures in order to ensure compliance with the legislation in place.
A visit will include an audit of paperwork and existing procedures before the risks are assessed during a survey of the site.
